Mexican music fans are in for a treat this Saturday, September 12, 2026, when two of Mexico's finest mariachi groups - Mariachi Vargas De Tecalitlan and Nuevo Tecatitlan Mariachi - present an evening of traditional Mexican music at The Theater at Virgin Hotels, all night long as part of Mariachazo.
Mariachi Vargas De Tecalitlan: The most renowned and the best Mariachi in the world, recognized globally for their excellence within the traditional mariachi style of music, founded in 1898. This great Mexican musical group will perform a vast and complete repertoire of classic songs very well known by the public: "La Bikina, El Son de la Negra, Guadalajara, Los Daniela's, Los Amor de un Rumbero, plus many more songs. Also they will present the most recent recordings, maintaining the traditional style of the songs and also with new arrangements.
The event will also showcase the works of a group of very skilled, new, young, and talented mariachi performers, performing all of the very classic songs that have been written within the style, as well as many, many new compositions of mariachi music. These men do a fantastic job performing all of the songs that have been written for this style of music within a great blend of wonderful harmonies that deliver a lot of excitement and awe to all who listen.
