Hailing from Quebec City, Men I Trust released their self-titled debut album in 2014. The record was followed by sophomore work Headroom in 2017. The band focused on promoting their music online and uploaded their material on various music platforms. Eventually, the band amassed a niche following. By 2019, the band made their breakthrough with their third effort Oncle Jazz, which spawned their smashing hit, “Show Me How.” The album also was in the running for a Polaris Music Prize. During the pandemic, Men I Trust gained even more prominence online upon releasing their Untourable Album, spawning the viral hit song, “Tree Among Shrubs.” This 2025, Men I Trust’s latest album Equus Asinus was longlisted for the Polaris Music Prize.
